For your consideration is a stunning Bitossi Ceramiche "Torcello" decor pottery vase, circa 1960s. Designed by Aldo Londi, this substantial cylindrical vase features rows of alternating cobalt blue and teal glazed raised circles accented by impressed dots framing the top and bottom rows. Marked to the base "5025 Italy" with the remnants of a Raymor sticker. In beautiful condition; there are a few tiny rough spots to the touch (on body and lip) that appear to be consistent with the hand built nature of the vase, also some glaze irregularities at the top/mouth that also appear to be from the factory (it is my opinion that the maker's hands disturbed to glaze with clay covered fingers- best seen in image looking straight down at vase opening); please see all images and reach out with any questions; offered as-is. There are no white areas, those shown in images are light reflections.
It's a stunner in person and would make a great addition to the Bitossi collection, weighs approximately 4.25 pounds, measures just about 10"H x 5" across.
